Tourism in Ukraine: decline or a slow start?

Abstract
The object of study is tourism industry of Ukraine, its problems, causes, signs of decline, as well as definitions of key indicators and model further development of tourism in Ukraine. The purpose of this writing. To substantiate theoretically the importance of tourism for Ukraine, find out the main causes of decline and to determine the prospects of development of tourism sphere of Ukraine. Objectives of the study. To explore the problems, causes and signs of decline of the tourist sphere of Ukraine, as well as identify key indicators and model further development of tourism in Ukraine. The methodological basis of the article is based on General scientific methods of cognition, as well as the results of the study of modern views of domestic scientists the field of tourism. The result of the work. The problems, causes and signs of decline of the tourist sphere of Ukraine, identifies key indicators and model of tourism development in Ukraine in the nearest future. Conclusions. Making an analysis of the current state of the tourist sphere of Ukraine, addressing some aspects of historical development, we tried to determine the main factors hindering the development of tourism. We also tried to find ways out of the crisis state of the tourism industry of Ukraine. Of course, this work is not comprehensive and does not fully exhaust all the problems of the issue being studied. Nevertheless, regardless of level of education on this issue, at the present stage there are several things obvious to every ordinary citizen of Ukraine. The most important of all, we identified – in order to achieve success and real development should make maximum common efforts to solve the tourism problem. The tourism industry of Ukraine, though very slowly beginning to develop, but the main thing is that we cannot be complacent. From which direction will go the development of modern industry depends for its future, particularly the future of the Ukrainian economy and, consequently, and life of Ukraine in General.
