Tradition and Modern: Public Debate between Traditional Medicine Researcher and Philosopher

Abstract
There have been disputes about traditional and modern medicine in the past hundreds of years continually since the recent western medicine was introduced into the eastern countries. The differences between the two systems lead to the divergences in the knowledge of diseases and the ways of treatment. However, either traditional or modern medicine is a solution to treating diseases for human beings as its foothold. There are some advantages and disadvantages in both systems. What will the medical development tendency in the future be? On October 22th, 2015, the well-known philosopher Wang Dingding and the medical expert Wu Xiongzhi came across on Philosophical Forum of Traditional Medicine held by Wu Xuejun.
