Perineum and genital burns are infrequent, especially as isolated episodes. The primary objective of perineum burn care is to maintain urine and fecal continence. Cleaning, gentle debridement of loose burnt tissue with gauze, topical antibacterial treatments, and dressing changes are all part of the first therapy for burns on the perineum and genitals.
