Journal Title: Актуальна інфектологія - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 9

Abstract

Introduction. Improving the efficiency of treatment of patients with drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis in cases of cavitation in the S6 of lungs and concomitant endobronchial pathology. Objective of the study: to examine the effectiveness of treatment of patients with drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis in cavitation of the S6 of lungs associated with endobronchial pathology using isoniazid-hydroxymethylquinoxalinedioxyde in comprehensive treatment. Materials and methods. The study group included 13 patients who received endobronchial introduction of isoniazid-hydroxyme-thylquinoxalinedioxyde into the affected draining bronchus; control group — 31 patients who received inhalations with antimycobacterial drugs. Results. Bacteriological conversion in the study group was achieved by 16.2 % more likely, with a reduction in the time of its termination by 1.2 months. Cavity closure in the S6 of lungs was achieved by 1.3 times more often, with a decrease in the time of their healing by 2.3 months. Conclusions. The comprehensive treatment with endobronchial introduction into the draining bronchus S6 of lungs of combination drug isoniazid-hydroxymethylquinoxalinedioxyde enhances the effectiveness of treatment by 16.1 %.
