Types, features of global production networks functioning

Abstract
Annotation. The purpose of the article is to study the types and to clarify the specifics of the functioning of global production networks. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following research methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, concretization, abstraction, the method of historical and logical research. Findings. The article states the definition of concepts related to the actual topics of global production networks, the relationship between them. Practical value. It is substantiated that each of the types of global production networks has its advantages and disadvantages, and the correctly constructed structure of the global production network of the enterprise provides significant advantages and benefits in the modern system of the international economy. The present state of development of global production networks and their importance in the framework of the globalization process taking place in the world are analyzed.
