Abstract
Stroke is a sudden life-threatening condition that manifests itself as focal or generalized brain dysfunctions lasting longer than 24 hours and requiring absolute hospitalization . Currently in the world, stroke is the third most common cause of death in adult population. The most crucial is to identify the symptoms suggesting stroke and to transport a patient to a specialist center for treatment as soon as possible. The best therapeutic effects are due to the use of specialized treatment within the first 90 minutes after the onset of symptoms, therefore every minute counts for a patient with stroke.
