Abstract
Based on the analysis of current administrative law and scientific concepts discussed problems and prospects of improving the system of environmental protection and energy security in the context of the implementation of the state ecological policy of Ukraine. Specifically States that the state ecological policy of Ukraine in the field of energy security should be based on the principles and priorities such varieties as state policy in electric power industry; energy-saving policies and energy efficiency; price and tariff policy; state policy in the sphere of energy saving and efficient use of fuel and energy resources, renewable energy and alternative fuels. The author also defined the priority directions of realization of state policy in the sphere of energy security of Ukraine: reform of energy markets; transparency of business activities; competition and deregulation of markets; adaptation of the legal framework of Ukraine to the norms and standards of EU legislation; integration of Ukrainian energy sector to the energy markets of the EU and European energy security; improving energy efficiency and ensuring energy savings; diversification of sources and routes of energy supply; to overcome the dependence on Russia in energy supplies and technologies; the development of renewable energy with priority to the environmental, nuclear and radiation safety; formation of the power supply system of the national economy in emergency situations; creation of conditions for reliable energy supply and transit through the territory of Ukraine; protection of energy infrastructure from lugros.
