UKRAINIAN AND FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF MUSEUM INSTITUTIONS ACTIVITIES: CULTURAL CREATIVE AND NATION-PRESERVING FUNDAMENTALS

Abstract

The article summarizes the achievements of Ukrainian and foreign museum pedagogics in the context of becoming the cultural creative and nation-preserving priorities of its development. It is proving that these institutions represent the image of a certain country, the people, personifying the cultural values of a particular community, nation and civilization. Museums have become, in most countries of the world, the best presentations of their cultural, spiritual, political development. Each world-class museum has an original history of its formation, each museum has a unique heritage, treasure of the world ethnic cultures and each maintains the special priority directions for presentations, scientific research, museum building and development. However, all of them are endowed with a common denominator in the history of origin and formation - always at the origins of the museum birth there were the initiators of their creation. Although they were different in their origin, social status, property qualification, attitude to power, but the unifying for them became the awareness the significance of preservation for the people and the future generations the historical, cultural, artistic and natural heritage. Millions of tourists from all round the world visit famous museums throughout the year. They are the largest treasuries of real history monuments, material and spiritual culture becoming an integral part of peoples and states life. Personalities focused on different interests were near the cradle of the origins of the museums creation. It is defined that modern museums should develop as institutions that determine the cultural creative and nation-preserving fundamentals of any nation progress. This global and national paradigm will urge ever more vigorously turn to the potential of the museum pedagogics, which is not just one of several among pedagogical sub disciplines, but plays a positive role in the effective interaction of educational and cultural institutions.
