Ultrasonic Sensor Based 3D Mapping & Localization
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2016, Vol 8, Issue 4
Abstract
This article provides a basic level introduction to 3D mapping using sonar sensors and localization. It describes the methods used to construct a low-cost autonomous robot along with the hardware and software used as well as an insight to the background of autonomous robotic 3D mapping and localization. We have also given an overview to what the future prospects of the robot may hold in 3D based mapping.

Joint Link Scheduling for Optimal Management of Radio Resources in Satellite Systems
This paper mainly focuses on the solving of joint link scheduling, which is a major aspect of resource allocation in a wireless satellite communication system. A brief review of some early definitive schedulers are prese...
Multi-Criteria Genetic Algorithms for Solving Pig Food Problems
This paper presents an algorithm based on genetic algorithms (GAs) for multi-criteria problems to solve pig food problems. The proposed algorithm called Era-GAs scheme forms pig food formulations with the aim of finding...
Efficient Lossless Colour Image Compression Using Run Length Encoding and Special Character Replacement
Image compression, in the present context of heavy network traffic, is going through major research and development. The lossless compression techniques, presently in practise, follow three basic paradigms – character re...
PDPKDES ( Pre Distributed Powerful Key for Data Encryption Standard)
Data encryption standard in spite of being a great algorithm in terms of a good combination of confusion and diffusion steps, doesn’t largely used because of a weak key concept. The key used in DES is only 64 bits (or 56...
