Abstract
Areas of application of ultrasound to reduce energy intensity and increase productivity in the metallurgical and mining industry are considered. To increase the productivity of rock destruction, it is necessary to use ultrasound with different characteristics. Create the appropriate equipment to cre-ate ultrasound in specific conditions. This will give an opportunity in automatic mode to increase the productivity of destruction and to minimize the energy costs in the process of destruction. Ultrasound should also be used in the processes of rock destruction at concentrating plants, when drilling wells and to increase productivity in metallurgical production. Studies have established that the application of ultrasound can enhance both the long-term fatigue of the fracture tool and its productivity.
