UNRECOGNIZED THREE BATH IN INEGOL AREA

Abstract
In the Ottoman period many religious and social structures were built in Inegöl region. Some of these buildings were made towards cleaning needs. These rural baths which built smaller than town centre as a public bath considering density, building needs and shape-size measurements. There are 14 baths in villages and towns of Inegöl region including three baths (two in town, one in village) which are subject of our study. However a part of these baths were discussed in several publications, in this study that baths which located in Akıncılar, Deydinler and Sarıpınar villages, will be introduced to the scientific world for the first time. Akıncılar, Deydinler and Sarıpınar village baths are too far from manumental structure and these are kept at the forefront of function. These baths have simple form considering both decoration and plan type, are similiar with general Bursa region. In this paper It’s focused on art and architecture value of baths in Inegöl region considering water architecture such as cistern, bridge and fountains. It’s aimed to reveal the general characteristic of local Turkish bath and identify the place the baths in Islamic architecture.
