UPSTATE PREDICTION SIMPLIFIED MODEL OF ELEMENTS MADE OF POLYMER COMPOSITES

Abstract

The paper presents the model proceeding in the case of parametric prediction of durability and dependability properties of elements made of the phenol formaldehyde polymer composite reinforced with fiberglass. On the basis of the results obtained from measurements of the selected physical and chemical parameters (and their statistical distribution) of the composite elements in the initial state and after 30 years of storage, there was a prediction made of the following operational parameters, for a singular and assembly of elements: mean upstate time, after 30 years of storage dependability and another ten years utilization durability prediction. In the authors’ opinion the model can be also used to determine symptom dependability.
