УРУМОМОВНА ЛІТЕРАТУРА ГРЕКІВ ПРИАЗОВ’Я

Abstract
У статті зроблено огляд творів грецьких приазовських письменників, що пишуть урумською мовою; розглянуто способи фіксації урумської мови; проаналізовано жанрово-тематичну своєрідність творів Валерія Кіора, Віктора Бороти та Кірікії Хавани. Окреслено перспективи розвитку урумської літератури греків Приазов’я. The article is concerned with the works by Greek writers living on the Azov Area and writing in Urum. Over the recent times, the literature written by the Greeks living on the Azov Area has been researched by K. Balabanov and S. Pakhomenko, K. Sardarian, Iu. Kutnaia and others. Nevertheless, the research of the Urum authors’ works was largely based on Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking authors. Representatives of the Urum literature Greek society appeared in the 1970s. It was Valerii Kior who was the literature expert, interpreter and philologist interested in preservation and development of the Urum Greek Dialects. The author analyses Kior’s first compellation «Letters of Sadness» 1990) which contains verses, monologues (poetic prose) and a number of sonnets written in the Russian and in the Urum languages. The main themes of the works are love, family and philosophical issues. The compilation made by Victor Borot, another Urum literature expert, «the Fate» (1993) is concluded by the author’s poetry written in the Urum language and translations thereof are made by I. Shkliarevskii. The thematic range of Victor Borot’s poetry is very wide. The poetry is about antiquity and animals, the so called «toponymic poetry». In the feature verse «We are little», he speaks about his little nation (the Urums) that has one big heart. A sports-biased version is the compilation of verses and prose «Invaded by the Cicadas». The recent times have also seen a brand new name in the skyline of the Urum poetry, such as Kirikia Khavana whose poetry is not yet published in serious journals but is already written in Russian, Ukrainian, Urum and other languages, full of love for the motherland and for the pride for its origin. At the end, the author specifies the prospects of the Azov Area Greeks’ Urum literature.
