Abstract
Comments on the origin and genealogy of the Families Komajewski and Gintowt-Dziewałtowski coat of arms Trąby The article discusses the genealogical relationships between families Komajewski and Gintowt-Dziewałtowski and ancestor of the Radziwiłł Family, Krystyn Ościki, and Vilnius Castellan at the turn of the14th and 15th c. These relations were derived from one of the Ościk’s sons – Bartłomiej, bearing the Lithuanian name Rak. Both families had estates in Dziewołtowo and Komaje (Lithuania). Many noble families (boyars) that were also using the coat of arms of Trąby but not of a common origin lived in that neighborhood in the 16th c.
