VAIC™ as an innovative method of performance measurement of business organizations

Abstract
This article outlines the evolution of the concept of measuring the companies’ performance and presents one of the methods for evaluation of performance of enterprises - VAIC ™ - which by the definition of its author should satisfy the requirements of the New Economy. This article focuses on presenting the characteristics of this method and the calculation of its algorithm. This article attempts also to assess the VAIC™ method, highlighting its validity and usefulness.
