Validation of moving target doses using ArcCHECK Planned Dose Perturbation Algorithm
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
The aim of the study is to use Planned Dose Perturbation (PDPâ„¢) measurement-guided reconstruction method to estimate dynamic 4D dose and evaluate both 3D dose and DVH changes caused by target motion resulting from respiration. Five patients of Ca lung were selected for the study. Target and Organ at risks were (OARs) delineated on 4DCT data set of each patient. Dose of moving target vs. stationary target were simulated and compared for OARs and target by analyzing 3D dose and DVH(Dose Volume Histogram). There was almost 3.5% higher target maximum doses measured with moving target after applying the target motion trajectory data as compared to the stationary target whereas OARs doses were comparable. The results, clinically signifies the importance of motion management in lung tumors.

Rosen-Chambers Variation Theory of Linearly-Damped Classic and Quantum Oscillator
Phenomena of damped harmonic oscillator is important in the description of the elementary dissipative processes of linear responses in our physical world. Its classical description is clear and understood, however it is...
On The Nield-Koznetsov Integral Function and Its Application to Airys Inhomogeneous Boundary Value Problem
In this work, we provide a solution to a two-point boundary value problem that involves an inhomogeneous Airys differential equation with a variable forcing function. The solution is expressed in terms of the recently in...
Effects of relief gratings, light characteristics and material properties to the emission resonance region
We present numerical simulations in order to investigate the coupling of the incident radiation to Surface Plasmon polaritons (SPPs) by metallic relief gratings. When the frequency of the SPPs is coincident with the elec...
Non-abelian whole gauge symmetry
The wholeness principle is analysed for non-abelian gauge symmetry. This principle states that nature acts through grouping. It says that physical laws should be derived from elds associations. At this work, we consider...
