Values vs. the diversity management business model

Abstract

Among the reasons for the crisis that took place in the first decade of the new millennium, the excessive concentration on building the financial value of enterprises, which resulted in a decrease in human values, is being pointed out quite often. The business model based on diversity management combines creating the economic value of an enterprise and the implementation of an equal rights policy as a basic value. Appreciating and utilizing the potential of diverse employees is crucial in the era of “the war for talent” and extends the organization‘s flexibility in reacting to the rapid changes of the environment.
