VARIABILITY FEATURES OF THE RADIO SOURCE OT 081 IN CENTIMETER WAVELENGTH RANGE
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2014, Vol 27, Issue 1
Abstract
OT 081 – BL Lac object, intensively studied for many years in a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum. We used observational data for 1999-2011 years, obtained on radio telescope at Michigan State University (UMRAO) at frequencies 14.5, 8, 4.8 GHz.For the study variability of the radio source used wavelet method of time series analysis. The values of main periods at three frequencies are ~2.6 and 1.2 years. The shortest periods with values ~0.9, 0.6, 0.4 years were shown in small time intervals (1.5 years). For harmonic components isolated by filtration, determined delay between radio frequencies. Obtained comparison of change between periods fluctuations of radio fluxes and dynamics in the radio jet (image VLBI Mojave, 15.4 GHz).

THE EFFECT OF MAJOR METEOR STREAMS ON THE TOTAL OZONE IN THE EARTH’S ATMOSPHERE
The correlation between the total ozone and activity of major meteor streams, such as the Perseids, Geminids, Leonids and Orionids, has been found using the Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) measurements of the glo...
THE MODEL FOR FINAL STAGE OF GRAVITATIONAL COLLAPSE MASSLESS SCALAR FIELD
It is known that in General relativity, for some spherically symmetric initial conditions, the massless scalar field (SF) experience the gravitational collapse (Choptuik, 1989), and arise a black hole (BH). According Bek...
THE PHYSICAL CONDITIONS OF THE CENTRAL PART OF ORION A HII REGION BY THE RADIO RECOMBINATION LINES AT 8 AND 13 MM
Observations of recombination radio lines (RRL) of hydrogen, helium (H, He) and carbon (C) were carried out in several positions of the HII region Orion A with RT22 radio telescope (Pushchino, Russia) at the wavelengths...
CROSS-MATCHING OF VERY LARGE CATALOGS
Modern astronomical catalogs and sky surveys, that contain billions of objects, belong to the “big data” data class. Existing available services have limited functionality and do not include all required and available ca...
REVERBERATION MEASUREMENT OF THE INNER RADIUS OF THE DUST TORUS IN NGC 4151 DURING 2008-2013
We investigate the correlation between infrared (JHKL) and optical (B) fluxes of the variable nucleus of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151 using partially published data for the last 6 years (2008-2013). Here we are using the...
