VIDAS, NAÇÕES E ESTADOS SE FAZENDO NAS FRONTEIRAS ENTRE BRASIL, PARAGUAI, ARGENTINA

Abstract
The experience of crossing borders as instituting of the modern Nation-States in the subjective and collective existence of the people is the aim of this article, with reference to the borders between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. It arguments that the experiences of crossing borders are conceived of its territorial and symbolic limits but raises the question of the proper dynamism to the act of traveling and moving, conceived as full of contrasts as the membership is done, paradoxically, in the crossing act itself. I focus on these experiences making analogy with the rites of passage, taking their symbolism as indicatives that define, vivify, make and (un) make the presence of the Nation-states in the lives of individuals in the crossing of the borders.
