VISION SYSTEM OF SECURITY OF THE WORK AREA OF ELECTROHYDRAULIC MANIPULATOR

Abstract
Vision systems are now widely used to control the quality of products and processed materials due to processing speed and high resolution of the processed image. In this paper the authors have proposed the implementation of a vision system for the detection and the detection of appearing human hand in the working area of the manipulator. The main aim of the research is to test the application and algorithms for detection of human hands on the working area of the manipulator. The Authors have proposed algorithms based on the method of tracking blobs combined with filtration of skin in the capture image. App created was based on OPEN CV library implementation in C++. This paper presents the use of a low-cost solution based on the webcam to improve the safety of human life in collaboration with the machine. The results confirm that it is possible to use the vision system to ensure the safety of the man in the working area of the manipulator.<br/><br/>
