Wannsee Conference: participants, main questions, decisions

Abstract

In this article we are talking about the Wannsee conference, which was held in Berlin at the end of January 1942. At a meeting attended by the heads of all the agencies and departments involved in the solution of the Jewish question. The main speaker was Gerhard Heydrich, appointed by Goring authorized definitively to solve the Jewish problem in Europe. Heydrich called a meeting with the purpose to talk about the expansion of their powers and to discuss future strategy and tactics of the working departments to accomplish the task. The conference addressed issues of Jewish blood purity, the further fate of the Jews of blood purity and mongrels, the continuation of mass deportations to the East and the conclusion of the German Jews in the ghetto Theresienstadt. Also in article it is about future of participants of meeting. Not all of them have received a just punishment after the war, some received several years of imprisonment and some people committed suicide. The post-war fate of Henry Muller still unknown.
