Wartość krajobrazu dla rozwoju turystyki w uzdrowiskach

Abstract
The aim of the research, the results of which were presented in the article, was to recognize the relationship between landscape and tourism in health resorts. Particular attention was paid to the public space, which in recent years has changed mainly through activities referred to revitalization. The article is based on an analysis of literature, source documents (act, reports, revitalization programs, development plans) and websites as well as on fi eld observations. In addition, a diagnostic survey with the use of questionnaires addressed to representatives of local governments of communes/spa towns and to UMCS students and to students of the University of the Third Age in Lublin was also referred. It was found that the revitalization activities increased the attraction of spas. A very important element of the landscape with therapeutic properties are spa parks. It is therefore necessary to use their existing potential for tourism development.
