WAYS TO PREVENT DRUG ADDICTION IN YOUNG PEOPLE
Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
Natural selection is hypothesized to have favored particularly strong emotional and behavioral responses to social successes and failures during adolescence, including increased reactivity toward peers. Overall, there may be interactions between the stimulus processing system of the adolescent brain, peer context, and risky behavior. Maturational changes and experiences during adolescence interact with social context to shape long-term social and reproductive trajectories. Evidence suggests that threats to the social status of aggressive children arise quite early in development
