WBANs for Patient Monitoring Systems: A Survey and Outlook
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
The WBAN has become one of the most researched areas for developing more reliable, accurate and efficient patient monitoring systems. Many researchers have proposed different approaches and schemes for building such monitoring systems. But the reliable transmission, latency, fast path recovery and re-routing are still some of the major issues that occurs in WBANs. This paper presents the survey of some proposed methodologies used for building wireless patient monitoring systems, the WBANs for patient monitoring systems implemented with different approaches, their advantages and limitations. It also discusses about some protocols which have been devised to increase the reliability of the WSN systems.
The Relationship between the Rights of Citizens and Municipal Services in Small Towns
One aspect of development is the concept of citizenship rights, the birth of the Roman law, and until recent years, there has been a change. European and American citizenship rights are a subset of Political Science (Pol...
Wireless Sensor Networks for Monitoring Physiological Signals of Multiple Patients
Recently, in many cases, the reason for a patient staying in the hospital is not that he or she actually needs active medical care. Often, the principal reason for a lengthy stay in the hospital is simply continual obser...
Performance Analysis and Comparison of Ad Hoc Routing Protocols by the Impact of Node Density
An Ad-Hoc Network is a self-configuring network of mobile nodes connected by wireless links, to form an arbitrary topology. The nodes are free to move randomly. Thus the network's wireless topology may be unpredictable a...
Curvature Properties of Special (α, β)- Finsler
In Finsler space we see special metrics such as Randers metric, Kropina metric and Matsumoto metric.,etc. Curvature properties of special Finsler metrics are of different types in that mainly locally dually flatness, pro...
Survey on Cluster Based Routing Protocol in MANETs
" In Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs), many clustering schemes are proposed. The systematic classification is used. These schemes provides the better understanding and for better improvements. The Cluster Based Routing Pr...
