Abstract

The article describes the mine countermeasures (MCM) platforms (minesweepers, minehunters) used during mine warfare. In the article, the author presents his point of view on MCM problems. The general conception and recommendation for new multi-mission MCM platforms combining several different mine counter measures systems onboard are also presented.
