Women in the legal profession in Turkey: past and present

Abstract
The article investigates the problem of the legal profession in Turkey from the viewpoint of women lawyers. Gender analysis used in the research process, enables a new way, in the frame- work of the problem of ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, to discover the essence of the legal profession in the context of the feminization of the legal profession.
