Wpływ regulacji Skawy na rozwój form korytowych

Abstract
Rozwój form korytowych jest ściśle uzależniony od parametrów morfometrycznych koryta oraz wielkości i częstości przepływów wezbraniowych. Regulacja odcinków koryt rzecznych, w zakresie zwężania i prostowania koryta, zabezpieczania brzegów, prowadzi do wykształcenia koryta transportującego. Kształt trasy regulacyjnej uniemożliwia rozwój bogatych form korytowych. W rozszerzeniach dna doliny, w których swobodnie mogą rozwijać się koryta wielonurtowe, powstają zróżnicowane formy korytowe. Porównanie dwóch, pierwotnie wielonurtowych, odcinków koryta dostarcza informacji o możliwościach jego rozwoju w przypadku zniszczenia zabezpieczeń brzegowych.
