Journal Title: Біль. Суглоби. Хребет - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 16
Abstract
An analysis of the data from 40 patients with instability and herniated disc in the lumbar spine has been carried out. The short-term (1 month) and long-term (1.5 years) results of conservative treatment were analyzed, and also the nature and characteristics of their course in the early and late periods were examined. Combined use of manual therapy and traction is not allowed as a method of conservative treatment for disc herniation associated with instability. Rehabilitation of the patient (targeted recovery of reliability of the spine functioning under physiological, common and industrial loads) is advisable.
