Abstract
Writing skills are one of the four basic skills of language. As with other skills, writing skills are a language skill that needs to be addressed at various levels. Writing skills are generally divided into dependent writing and independent writing. Both categories are subdivided into subcategories within themselves. In this study, some mistakes that foreign language learners might fall into the writing skill are discussed. Especially funny ones were chosen and the causes of these faults were emphasized. Some types of exercises have been given in order to provide solutions to the mistakes that have been made, and at the end of the study, some cues and remedies have been given about the funny mistakes that students made on the source language and what they actually mean.
