Zadłużenie zagraniczne Polski jako problem strukturalny polskiej gospodarki w latach 1970-2015
Journal Title: KONIŃSKIE STUDIA SPOŁECZNO-EKONOMICZNE - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue 3
Abstract
The common trait of Polish economy during the last 45 years (1970-2015) is its growing foreign debt. The process started at thebeginning of the 1970s and it has continued up until now. Poland’s debt in capitalistic countries de-termined our development for nearly 30 years, and the only solution (espe-cially at the beginning of the 1990s) was the increase of export value to these states. Later on some other measures were taken and agreements with cred-itors were signed. Finally, the relation between foreign debt and GDP fell down from 66% in 1991 to 35% in 1996.
