Abstract
Відображено роботу фахівців Центру консервації і реставрації НБУВ з науково-прикладного обстеження фактичного фізичного стану унікальних документів, виконання комплексу необхідних стабілізаційних операцій та надання конкретних рекомендацій з метою участі у виставкових проектах загальнодержавного значення та експонування в умовах Бібліотеки. Констатовано, що вдосконалення та розвиток виставкової діяльності Бібліотеки змушує фахівців-консерваторів приділяти пильну увагу питанням забезпечення збереження документів на всіх етапах цієї роботи/ Results of work of specialists of the Center of preservation and restoration of V. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (CPR of VNLU) on scientific applied inspection of the actual physical state of unique documents, and also on performance of a complex of necessary stabilization operations for the damaged documents are reflected in the article. Concrete recommendations for participation of documents of VNLU in exhibition projects, both of nation-wide value and exhibiting in the conditions of the Library are made. Tasks of preservation specialists of the Library concerning the ensurance of documents safety at all stages of exhibition work are stated in details. There are considered such components of work on documents safety ensurance during exhibiting, especially long-term, as obligatory survey by the employee of CPR of VNLU of exhibition facilities and its equipment. It is necessary for observance of compliance of conditions of exhibiting to requirements of the interstate standard of preservation of documents. The great value is given to questions of illumination of exhibits. Considering that influence of level of illumination and duration of exhibiting on a material basis of documents are approximately identical, on condition of illumination excess it is necessary to proportionally reduce exhibiting duration. It is noted about the need to pay attention to a way of documents placement in a show-window during a long-term exhibition. In this case it is expedient to periodically leaf through pages of books especially those which are illustrated for minimization of harmful light effects. It is emphasized that experts of CPR of VNLU constantly improve ways of stabilization processings and phase storage of documents during exhibiting and transportation to exhibitions. For thispurpose employees of CPR of VNLU developed original designs, individual means of protection are made and successfully applied to storage and transportation of the Library unique documents
