A study of functional outcome of correction of cubitus varus deformity by stepcut translation osteotomy

Abstract

Objective To analyse the cosmetic and functional outcome of correction of cubitus varus deformity in adolescents and adults by step cut translation osteotomy. To analyse the amount of varus deformity correction obtained. To analyse the amount of varus deformity correction obtained. To analyse the amount of correction of Lateral condyle prominence obtained. To analyse the post-operative arc of motion and the difference in the post-operative range of motion in comparison with the pre-operative range. To analyse the associated complications, and To come to a conclusion as to the efficacy of the procedure.
