ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF FUTURE DESIGNERS PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION STAFF

Abstract
Purpose. To analyze the current state of development of the problem of future designers’ professional training by the scientific and pedagogical discourse. Methodology. Synthesis, comparison, concretization, systematization and generalization, analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, educational and methodical literature methods have been applied. Results. Two main directions of modern training are analyzed: orientation to the fundamental general theoretical training, which involves the formation of professional knowledge and skills, mastering the latest techniques and design technologies; ensuring a specialists’ individually oriented education which is targeted at developing the of the future designers’ professional qualities, abilities, creative potential of the individual and forming the general culture. It was determined that the future designers’ preparation for professional activity is achieved by solving a number of tasks in the design-educational space, among which, in addition to studying the design methodology, methods of structural organization of the form, socio-cultural functions of design projects, the possibility technological introduction design projects into production, leading to the development of designers’ creative individuality, the formation of future designers’ thinking. Originality. The current educational and methodological support of professional disciplines is analyzed and their professional-forming potential is proved. The actual problems of professional theoretical and practical training of future designers in higher educational institutions are revealed. Practical value. It is established the main role of training of specialists is orientation on personality and competence, which allows to significantly improve of future designers’ competitiveness.
