Analogical theory of Thomas Aquinas in semantics of divine attributes

Abstract

The semantic analysis of divine attributes has been always paid attention to by phibs¬ophers and theobgians and different theories have been proposed in this regard Providing different reasons regarding God by philosophers and theobgians has been more about correct assumption about God rather than acknowledgement of the nature of God and thus, the efforts of scholars have been towards correct understmding of God In this regard, the efforts of Thomas Aquinas as the most significant Christian theobgi¬an in the Middle Ages are important. By negating absolute equivocality and unlvocality and proposing the theory of anabgy, Aquinas. In this study, the semantic analysis and investigation of divine attributes from the perspective of Thomas Aquinas is provided.
