ANALYSIS OF THE FORMATION OF SCIENTIFIC THOUGHT OF STATE FUNCTIONS IN THE THEORY OF LAW

Abstract
This article explores theoretical and legal characteristics of the modern state functions. The necessity of a detailed analysis of the problems directly related to the concept and content of state functions in the context of the transformation of their nature. The author analyzes the process of formation of scientific knowledge about the functions of the state in the Soviet theory of law and examines the current concepts in understanding the concept and nature of state functions. Research conducted at the junction of various sciences, including legal and economic. Focusing attention on the problem of determining the function of the state was always the focus of legal science, she was devoted much basic research. The conclusion is that today many questions about the functions of the state science resolved, on the other - the researchers found a decent compromise, but there are also those problems for which remain controversial position. The author emphasizes the need for further development problems of the modern state functions, especially in terms of some fundamental reassessment of its provisions on the role of social purpose and nature
