Assessment quality of teaching in higher education institutions

Abstract
An article on the study of approaches to assessing the quality of teaching in higher education institutions is devoted. Principles for assessing the quality of teaching are proposed. The technologies and methods for assessing pedagogical activity and the quality of teaching are presented. The main methods of reflexive analysis by the teacher of his own pedagogical activity have been analyzed. It is: checklists; reflexive diaries of lessons; transcripts, video and audio recordings of classes; questionnaire for students; mutual visits of colleagues. The technology of monitoring the quality of teaching in the university on the basis of feedback from students Investigated. The peculiarities of control over the quality of teaching, based on the results of visiting colleagues and managers (mutual visits), which can also be conducted in the form of an open class, are considered. The essence and functions of an open lesson are defined. The criteria for the analysis of open classes in some higher education institutions of Ukraine are considered.
