Beyin tumorleri tedavisinde yeni perspektifler

Abstract
Beyin tümörlerinin tedavisinde nöroşirürjideki gelişmelere paralel olarak son yirmi yıl içinde belirgin bir ilerleme sağlandığını söyleyebiliriz. Benim ihtisas yaptığım 1980 yılından bir kesit aldığımızda; örneğin BT, pterional kraniotomi, anevrizma klibi, L-dopa ve hematoksilen ve eosin ile boyama standart uygulamalar idi. 2006 yılının sonuna geldiğimizde ise artık intraoperatif MRG-BT, endonazal, endoskopik, kafa kaide cerrahisi, endovasküÎer uygulamalar, stereotaktik girişimler ve 1p-,19q-,p57 gibi moleküler biyoloji tetkikleri artık yeni standardlar olarak gösterilmektedir .
