Bezpieczeństwo w ruchu drogowego – studium przypadku

Abstract
One of the main tasks of transport is moving people or goods to specific places using appropriate means of transport. In recent years on the roads we can see increase number of private cars, trucks or public transport. The consequence of this situation is a decrease road safety, related to the lack of an adequate level of caution by drivers. The increasing number of accidents contributes to the costs related to their consequences eg.: costs of removing damages, treatment costs. City authorities implement a variety of solutions aimed at increasing road safety. These activities include the reorganization of intersections, as well as the use of telematics tools, i.e. the introduction of systems allowing the identification of vehicles and the measurement of their speed. The article presents the concept of improving safety on the selected section of road located on the Duńska street. The article is financed under the grant for the Young Scientist 3/MN/IZT/2018.
