CATEGORIAL DIALECTICS SYSTEM – THE PURPOSE OF INDUCTIVE METHOD IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE (ON THE EXAMPLE OF PSYCHOLOGY)

Abstract
“Working” categorical pairs (“executive – control” and “logical – combinatorial” functions) were chosen to describe the observed polar qualities on the four steps of the sixth “stairs” of psychical development. The transition from “working” pairs to the basic philosophical (“being – consciousness” and “cognition – transformation”) was carried by method of induction (F. Bacon). The required stairs of psychical development are constructed by a pairwise combination of categories, one of each pair of the opposites (the “Eysenck’s circle”): recognition (consciousness of cognition); logical, or cognitive thinking (being of cognition); operatory thought, or constructing (being of transformation); experiment (consciousness of transformation). Based on the method of categorical synthesis (I. Kant, G. Hegel), the alleged fragment of the categorical system is constructed from 4 parallels of scientific knowledge: psychological, philosophical, logical and the most evident – physical. The described fragment syn-thesizes three of the six stairs of psychical development by a double closed circle. Each previous categorical pair is synthesized by one of the categories of the succeeding pair. 1. Positive pole (being) + negative (consciousness) = attraction (effect). 2. + Repulsion (cause) = constant (balance). 3. + Variable (movement) = rhythm (cognition). 4. + Leap (transformation) = frequency (quantity). 5. + Level (quality) = corpuscle (measure, or form). 6. + Wave (content) = positive pole (being).
