Clinical presentation of concha bullosa and study of role of endoscopic turbinoplasty.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Clinical presentation of concha bullosa and study of role of endoscopic turbinoplasty. STUDY DESIGN: Longitudinal observational study (3 follow up at 1 week, at 1 month, at 3 months so total follow up spread over 3 months) METHOD : We studied 35 cases, indoor patients of E.N.T department with nasal obstruction and hypertrophied middle turbinate and patients who underwent turbinoplasty. All patients were checked pre-operatively and post operatively with anterior rhinoscopy, diagnostic Nasal Endoscopy, computed tomography of paranasal sinuses. Post operatively CT scan was done only if required. Post operative 3 months follow up done and results observed. RESULTS: There is improvement in nasal obstruction symptomatically and minimal post operative complications. CONCLUSION: Follow up upto 3 months showed fruitful results in the improvement of symptoms & signs with minimal post operative complications suggestive excellent outcome of surgery.
