COMPARISON OF EFFICIENCY OF SELECTED INDUSTRIES OF POLISH FOOD INDUSTRY

Abstract
This paper presents efficiency analysis of Polish food industry. The main purpose of this paper is to compare the efficiency of 8 food branches based on labour and fixed assets productivity and non - parametric method - Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI). The highest average index of changes in MPI in 2004-2013 was achieved by processing of meat and manufacture of beverages.<br/><br/>
