COMPARISON OF THE JOB BURNOUT IN HOSPITAL EMERGENCY PERSONNEL AND PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY PERSONNEL OF SHIRAZ

Abstract
Background: One of the biggest concerns of the healthcare organization is the emergency staff of the emergency staff facing the crisis. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the burnout of operational personnel with the staff of Shiraz Medical Emergency Department. Method: The research method is a causal-comparative study. The statistical population of this study was all staff members of the emergency and operational staff of Shiraz Medical Emergencies. 106 people (52 operational and 54 praising staff) were selected through simple sampling simple random sampling were selected and responded to burnout questionnaires. Resulted: The findings were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and correlation and spss-22 software. The findings showed that emotional exhaustion and depersonalization were higher in the operational staff (p <0.01). Also, the operational staff had the least personality (p <0.01), but the number of occupations in both groups was the same. Operational personnel evaluated the higher severity of burnout in all three components of the work burnout. There was also no significant relationship between age and job history with burnout. Conclusion: In general, the findings showed that the severity of burnout in the staff was higher than the staff, and more attention was needed to this issue.
