CONCEPTUAL BASES IN RELATION TO THE REALIZATION OF COMPETENCE APPROACH IN THE SETTING OF FLIGHT HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENTS

Abstract
The article runs about the analysis of concepts «competence» and «professional competence» in psychological and pedagogical literature. The interrelation of the professional training of the students of flight higher educational establishments and competence approach in the educational process has been observed. A competence is a possession of competence, which is manifested in the efficient behavior, and includes personal attitude to the subject and the product of behavior; competence is an integrative personality formation, that integraes knowledge, skills, experience and personal characteristics, which lead to the desire, ability and willingness to solve problems and challenges, that arise in real life situations, while realizing the importance of the subject and results of the behavior. A professional competence of airmen is a set of general scientific, general aviation)related and special aviation) related knowledge, skills, moral and volitional, physical and physiological characteristics, using which airman is able to effectively carry out one’s duties and be aimed at constant self)education and self)improvement.
