Conceptual Basis of Industrial Structure Modernization

Abstract
The urgency of structural modernization of the industry on the present stage of its development and the need of improvement of the state industrial policy are justified in the paper. Contents of the terms \"industrial structure \", \"optimal structure \", and \"industrial structure \" are specified. The main directions of analytical improvement of concepts, strategies and structural adjustment programs of the Ukrainian industry are proposed.
