CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL WORK IN PRISON IN THE USSR IN 1920

Abstract
Considered problematic aspects of cultural and educational work in detention centers in the USSR in 1920. The analysis of archival sources on the quality of education, level of education among prisoners and encouraging the administration to ensure this constitutional right. We give statistics on education age characteristics of persons serving sentences.
