CURRENT TRENDS AND PROBLEMS OF HISTORIOGRAPHY ACTIVITIES OF SOVIET STATE SECURITY ORGANS AGAINST POLISH ETHNIC MINORITY ON THE SOUTH OF UKRAINE (1928–1938)

Abstract
The article deals with the problematic aspects of historical research activities of the Soviet state security organs against polish ethnic minority on the South of Ukraine in 1928–1938. Some aspects of historical research on this top-ic are revealed. Some constituents of punitive politics towards the Poles to this day remain incomplete studied. Re-searchers that analysed punitive politics of totalitarianism were concentrated foremost on her most cruel and most mass displays.
