Abstract
We consider the design and technological activity of the future teacher of technology. Legitimate question of the quality in the implementation of design and technological culture as a component in the creative activity of the future teacher of technology. The article analyzes the concept of social competence as part of language communication. We characterize the design and technological activity in the process of preparation of the future teacher of technology. We analyzed the types of professional competence in the process of vocational and technological activity of the future teacher of technology
