DETERMINANTS OF THE COMMISSION OF A CRIME ENVISAGED BY ARTICLE 188-1 OF THE CRIMINAL CODE OF UKRAINE

Abstract
In article determinants of illegal use of electric and thermal energy in all regions and settlements of Ukraine are investigated, there is a tendency to further spread of this phenomenon. The insufficient theoretical elaboration of the problem of counteraction to criminal activity, as well as imperfection of article 188-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and its ineffective use by courts and law enforcement bodies, generating in the population the illusion of impunity for stealing electric and thermal energy.
