Journal Title: MANAGERIAL CHALLENGES OF THE CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY - Year 2016, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
Social programs are important for both society and companies. The way organizations manage these programs is influenced by the level of competences they own. The logic model is a tool used in multiple management areas related to project management, one of them being social programs. The purpose of this paper is to analyze logic models’ theory and to develop a logic model for a social program from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The program is related to the Pata-Rât Rroma community and the logic model is developed for future usage. Cluj-Napoca city hall, multiple local and foreign NGOs and organizations, multiple local and foreign individuals have contributed for improving the situation of the Pata-Rât community. However, in history, there was no real strategic plan, there were only individual actions and projects. Some of them succeeded, some of them provided a minimum impact for this community. This article incorporates the results already provided by these projects and contains a logic model for the future actions which should be considered.
