Development and validation of HPLC method for simultaneous determination of Ranolazine and Dronedarone in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage forms
Journal Title: Indian Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biotechnology - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 6
Abstract
A simple, Accurate, precise method was developed for the simultaneous estimation of the Ranolazine and Dronedarone in Tablet dosage form. Chromatogram was run through ODS 3V 250 x 4.6 mm, 5. , 5. Mobile phase containing Buffer and Acetonitrie in the ratio of 50:50A was pumped through column at a flow rate of 1ml/min. Buffer used in this method was 0.02N NH2PO4 buffer at pH 4 Temperature was maintained at 30°C. Optimized wavelength for Ranolazine and Dronedarone was 282nm. Retention time of Ranolazine and Dronedarone were found to be 2.135min and 5.815min. %RSD of the Ranolazine and Dronedarone were and found to be 0.25 and 0.16 respectively. %assay was obtained as 99.80% and 100.80% for Ranolazine and Dronedarone respectively. LOD, LOQ values are obtained from regression equations of Ranolazine and Dronedarone were 0.39ppm, 1.19ppm and 0.58ppm, 1.76ppm respectively. Regression equation of Ranolazine is y = 1918.x + 229.1, and y = 12213x + 2148. Of Dronedarone.
